Auntie Cheryl's Salad Dressing

This recipe was given to me by our friend Russel Wohlwerth. He got it from his friend Jane. I call it Russel’s dressing. He calls it Jane’s dressing. Since I’ve made it, the family refers to it as Auntie Cheryl’s salad dressing. So, on and on it goes!

1/3 cup canola oil
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1 heaping tsp seasoned salt
2 tsp dried parsley
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
2 T grated Parmesan cheese
1 clove crushed garlic
Mix all ingredients. Shake and pour.

Uses:
Spring mix salad greens with red onions, crumbled feta cheese, candied walnuts and apples.

Tomato Cucumber Onion Salad
Sliced tomatoes, onions, cucumber.

Mozzarella Tomato Basil Salad
Sliced Roma tomatoes
Sliced soft mozzarella
Fresh basil
This is great with extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Also good with the homemade salad dressing.
