4 Japanese cucumbers 1 carrot Optional: small clams
You may wish to peel strips of the cucumber skin with a potato peeler so that you get a green and white stripe pattern first. Slice into thin pieces.
Now comes the hard part – cut 4 or 5 V shapes into carrots lengthwise, then slice thin. You should get carrot flowers. The carrots is just to make the dish look pretty so you don’t need a lot. Demo is here.
Combine with vinegar mixture and marinate for a day.
