Rub salt, pepper, and garlic on pork ribs and place bone side down in roasting pan. Pour a can of beer over the racks, cover with tin foil, and bake – 350 degrees for 15 minutes, then lower to 275 degrees for 2 to 3 hours. Done when fork pierces pork easily and hopefully before meat pulls back from the bone.
After cooling, cut the ribs apart and coat with a mixture of mayonnaise, garlic salt (check how salty the ribs are first,) pepper, and Italian seasoning. Grill or broil on high until nicely browned – use high heat so as not to dry out the ribs.
You can also dip in tonkatsu sauce or Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce.
